Cairns Private Hospital Open Day

The Cairns Private Hospital will be showing the community what happens in hospital with demonstrations in advanced life support, tours through theatre and a health check stall for people who would like their blood pressures, sugar levels and BMIs checked. Information on healthy eating, cancer prevention and exercise will be available. "Keep on Moving" is the theme to help people be motivated to enjoy exercise and a healthy lifestyle.

There will be a barbecue and jumping castle for the children and money raised from the event will be donated to both the Cancer Council Qld and Legacy Club of Cairns. The Cairns Taipans and Girl Guides will also be entertaining the crowds.

The Open Day will be held on Sunday September 19 from 10am to 2pm and will be officially opened by Cairns Regional Councillor Alan Blake.
